CHARLESTON, SC (March 2023) -

Emily Curtis is a soulful singer-songwriter with a southern flare. Following in her father's footsteps, the artist began making waves with her guitar and smooth vocals in the Charleston, SC music scene in 2015 and has since released a crowd funded EP and a steady stream of singles, some of which are signed to sync catalogs for Concord Music Publishing and Koze Music. Her single, “Sandcastles” premiered in American Songwriter Magazine with a music video, filmed in historic 20 South Battery mansion. In November 2022 she was voted Charleston City Paper Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year.

No stranger to the stage, Curtis started her career performing in local bars and churches playing three to four nights a week. She has since progressed to amphitheater stages, concert halls, and showcases in the Costa Rican jungle, supporting national acts such as Parmalee, Alexandra Kay, and Sister Hazel. More recently she performed alongside two-time Grammy Award winning musician Charlton Singleton and singer Quiana Parler of Ranky Tanky. As a vocalist she is a background singer for Nashville singer/songwriter Patrick Davis in his Midnight Choir, lending her harmonies to the likes of Darius Rucker, Charles Kelly, Randy Houser, and hometown favorites Hootie & The Blowfish.

All of Emily’s projects are rooted in a community focused approach as a member of the Billboard 500 Club mentored by TV sync/licensing mogul, Adam McInnis, and as a co-founder of “Sisters In Song” bringing women together in the Charleston music scene.

At the end of the day, Emily Curtis is more than music building healthy community among fellow creatives, while leading her listeners to a place of wholeness, feeling empowered to "Leave a Mark" using their unique gifts and strengths.
