Emily Curtis is a soulful singer-songwriter with a captivating southern flare. Following in her father's footsteps, she began making waves in the local music scene in 2015, enchanting audiences with her guitar skills and smooth vocals. Since then, she has released a crowd-funded EP and a collection of singles, with some of her tracks signed to sync catalogs for esteemed publishers such as Concord Music Publishing and Koze Music.

One of Emily's standout singles, "Sandcastles," premiered in American Songwriter Magazine alongside a stunning music video filmed at the historic 20 South Battery mansion. The song's soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics have resonated deeply with audiences, solidifying Emily's place as a rising talent in the industry. Her exceptional artistry was recognized in November 2022 when she was voted as the Charleston City Paper Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year.

No stranger to the stage, Emily's career began with performances in local bars and churches, honing her craft through countless nights of passionate music-making. Over time, her talent led her to grace amphitheater stages, concert halls, and even showcases in the mesmerizing Costa Rican jungle. She has shared stages with national acts such as Parmalee, Alexandra Kay, and Sister Hazel, showcasing her versatility and undeniable stage presence. Recently, Emily had the honor of performing alongside two-time Grammy Award-winning musician Charlton Singleton and the renowned singer Quiana Parler of Ranky Tanky.

In addition to her solo endeavors, Emily is a sought-after background vocalist, lending her harmonies to the Nashville singer/songwriter Patrick Davis in his Midnight Choir. Her remarkable vocal talents have been featured alongside esteemed artists including Darius Rucker, founding member of The Commodores Thomas McClary, Charles Kelly, Randy Houser, and hometown favorites, Hootie & The Blowfish.

Community and collaboration are at the heart of all of Emily's projects. She is a member of the Billboard 500 Club, where she is mentored by TV sync/licensing mogul Adam McInnis, honing her skills and expanding her industry knowledge. Emily is also a proud co-founder of "Sisters In Song," a vibrant community of diverse women in the Charleston music scene. This collective is on a mission to build authentic relationships, provide education, and empower one another to reach new heights.
