Emily Curtis is a soulful singer-songwriter with a captivating southern flare. Following in her father's footsteps, she began making waves in the local music scene in 2015, enchanting audiences with her guitar skills and smooth vocals. Since then, she has released a crowd-funded EP and a collection of singles, with some of her tracks signed to sync catalogs for esteemed publishers such as Concord Music Publishing and Koze Music.
One of Emily's standout singles, "Sandcastles," premiered in American Songwriter Magazine alongside a stunning music video filmed at the historic 20 South Battery mansion. The song's soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics have resonated deeply with audiences, solidifying Emily's place as a rising talent in the industry. Her exceptional artistry was recognized in November 2022 when she was voted as the Charleston City Paper Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year.
No stranger to the stage, Emily's career began with performances in local bars and churches, honing her craft through countless nights of shows. In addition to her solo endeavors, Emily is a sought-after background vocalist, lending her harmonies to the Nashville singer/songwriter Patrick Davis in his Midnight Choir. Her remarkable vocal talents have been featured alongside esteemed artists including Darius Rucker, founding member of The Commodores Thomas McClary, Charles Kelly, Randy Houser, and hometown favorites, Hootie & The Blowfish.
